Sustainability Office

Sustainable SFU is funded by mandatory fees collected from all SFU students as the result of a referendum a couple of years ago.
It does not fund student clubs. The office does fund some initiatives, including a zero waste program, the academic Change Lab program, the Sustainability Ambassadors and Peers groups and some others.

Free the Children
To break the cycle of poverty by raising funds for education. Free The Children is an organization which aims to build sustainable communities with access to education, clean water, healthcare, sources of alternative income, and agriculture in poverty-stricken countries. Lifeline SFU
SFU Lifeline exists to defend the human rights of pre-born children which are assaulted by practices such as abortion and embryonic stem cell research. We are focused on raising awareness about this human rights violation, which kills 100,000 Canadian children every year.
